Our working process

Heritage

Our story started in 1945,  when our grandfather “Mohammad Ismail” settled in Delta, Egypt with his children. He focused in agriculture and cultivating corns, wheat, olives, oranges, apples , seasonal vegetables…etc.. 

Through the years he taught his children how to love the land and the more you give that more it gives you back.  

for 25 years the main business for the family was farming , as his sons grows the land grew and the business grew with it.

Passion

In 1990, His Son M.M. Ismail couldn’t forget his passion even after graduation and starting his business. He kept his passion and expanded it, 

He decided he wants to learn more, start cultivating artichokes, bringing new generation of olives, peppers, strawberry…etc.  and that were not common at that time in Egypt. 

In 2001, with members of the 3rd generation even growing more fond of standardized agriculture and reached international levels for grade A product, the birth of the idea of having manufacturing site started.

  The team put ideas to actions, dividing themselves to 3 groups, 1 group studying the secrets of lands and agriculture, the 2nd group focusing on manufacturing, production and quality and the 3rd group on supplying machines, equipment, tools and other business need.

2002 was our 1st order starting out-sourcing,  production and exporting barrels /drums to Italy.

 

Our customers loved the products, and even taught us the tricks and secrets of manufacturing, and with their support and guidance, the canning line started.

2006 was the start of our 1st full Manufacturing t ” small owned facility which grow now to 1 big fully active manufacturing site.” and exporting to Italy, Spain, Greece, Saudi and  Emirates.  

2015 our export started to the USA, to reach  20 countries 

2016-2018 adding Asia and the rest of Europe, reaching 28 countries..

2018 starting the project of a 2nd even bigger manufacturing site,  targeting to start production on 2020, to have 2 Manufacturing sites , with 4 facilities giving more room for bigger production capacity.

2019 Establishment of GMA-FOOD LLC. in Florida as a regional commercial and trading  hub.

2020  Establishment of North Carolina Hub.
